Where do I start?
Before we design a plan, it’s a really good idea to establish a budget first.
Where do I get inspiration?
Create a scrapbook, collect photos, magazine articles, and brochures. Also check out Houzz.com for design ideas. These items will help you describe what you want your home to feel like, inside and out.
How do I want my floor plan to flow?
Make a list of the must haves and don’t wants. Use your current home as a model – are the room sizes big enough? Do we need a dining room? Will a certain piece of furniture fit on a particular wall? Do I want more light in the Kitchen? Where should the screen porch be? How does the home flow from one room to another?
All of the questions will be answered soon enough. With or without a scrapbook, Jalyn Homes and our design team will help you pull it all together. We can custom design a plan together, use your plan, or customize one of our plans.
