Building a home is always a stressful undertaking, but building a home while living 750 miles away is especially stressful. Steve Wolfgram, of Jalyn Homes, made the process as painless as possible. He was in contact with us on a daily basis to provide status reports on the building activity and when we visited the job site every 3-4 months he always had a punch list scheduled for my wife and I to pick out carpet, lights, counter tops, doors, siding, paint, appliances etc,etc. He made our trips very efficient and kept the building process on track.. We love our new home and Steve is always available to assist with any concerns.

“Jim and I have had 3 other homes built. These experiences were wearing. Building a home can be very stressful, especially from long distance; we are from Long Island, New York.  In the beginning, we  had appointments with 5 builders. When we met Steve Wolfgram of Jalyn Homes, we immediately felt that he would build us a fantastic home paying attention to our needs financially(keeping us on a budget), yet with attention to detail and energy efficiency. He listened to what we thought would work for us and came up with a fabulous plan.   He kept us well informed every step of the way and actually sent us pictures from the clearing of our property straight through every phase of the building process. We also met with him at different stages and he had very efficiently scheduled appointments with lighting, cabinet, plumbing, electrical and flooring people that are very knowledgeable in their fields and wonderful to work with.  As the house was taking shape, if Steve thought something could be improved on, he would call us and make excellent suggestions. Nothing was done without our OK. He was also fantastic about returning our phone calls and e-mails.  Steve’s dedication and caring has made building our house a joy!  We not only consider him an outstanding builder, but he has become our friend.”
